Quynh is an orphanage name...rumor has it, all the girls from the DaNang RC will have that same name somewhere in their name. For some reason I am thinking maybe Thursday... but you described adoption perfectly: "It sucks to be so simultaneously happy for someone else and miserable for yourself." That's a really great sentence. I honestly think more of us should spend more time being sulky- for some reason there's this weird pressure to stay upbeat instead of acknowledging how hard this really is. I mean, almost all women in their 8th and 9th month of being pregnant start talking about how uncomfortable it is, and how they are READY. We should be able to do the same... I'm not opposed to two syllable middle names.
