I am ten minutes (literally, even in heavy traffic) from the airport, I'd be more than happy to meet you with winter gear when you come home. I'm keeping positive thoughts for your mom as she prepares for surgery. With everything happening apparently all at once, it's reasonable for you to feel a bit off right now. Everything will get packed and the projects that must be finished will be done, I think that christina is right and when the call comes, you won't be thinking about the projects but about holding your daughter.
