Ahhhhhhh, so you've been officially bit by the Vietnam bug!!! It's amazing how a place so different from our home can feel instantly like home. I miss my VN home and can't wait to go back again!!

Travel safely!!

Safe travels.

pbvvpcNoodle that was beautiful!!! I wish I had at least one experience that causes me to reflect. I'm jealous. I'm sad your journey has to end but you sound very optimistic and that brings a smile to my face.
Keep Vietnam as your Disney...because if there is a place that brings happiness to your life, I think you should go back there often!
XOXOXO

Wishing you safe travels and a comfortable ride home. I wouldn't have considered you anti-American either. As Americans we live a pretty comfy life and we tend to forget the little things (finger pointing to myself here!) Let us know when you are home safe and sound!

Nothing you have written is Anti-American. I felt what you are feeling when we left Cambodia and I know I will feel the same way when we are leaving Vietnam. Just because a place is different then the US in no way makes it "less than". In many ways I found Cambodia to be much better than the US...and vice versa, too. Hopefully the comforts of home will help ease your transition back. Have safe travels!
