I'm de-lurking (LOVE your blog) to tell you that actually weak enamel can be a genetic thing too. My little brother and I both had weak enamel... the dentist said that it's sometimes an actual "syndrome" that can be hereditary. My two older brothers did not have the same problem. Thankfully the dentist also said that it often resolves once permanent teeth grow in..... this was definitely the case for my brother and I. We both had cavities all the time as kids, no matter how well we took care of our teeth.... ever since I lost my baby teeth, NO MORE cavities! YAY!

I also learned about this hereditary trait in 9th grade biology! I remember thinking "That's it... that's what was wrong with us!" I hope Noah has the same positive change with permanent teeth.

Anyway, Addison is precious. I've had a heart for adoption since a VERY young age, so I can't wait to go through this process myself someday. I found your blog a while ago through someone else's, though I'll never remember whose. I've enjoyed following your journey.

Dental stuff is such a pain... I'm glad he only needed one filling but sorry it was such a difficult one to do. Hope the rest of them don't ever have to be filled!
