Bathing Beauty

Hmm - fashion sense is not quite "on"

I can not stop buying bathing suits. It is an addiction. I think part of it is that cute toddler bathing suits are hard to find. I only like two piece suits which originally began as a practicality issue. Changing diapers in a one-piece is just a pain. But Addy doesn’t wear diapers under her suit anymore so now it’s just because she’s so freakin’ cute. Listen…..after 12 years of boy bathing suits, this is what I need to do okay?!!?

I justify my bathing suit habit because we have a pool which means we could, in theory, swim many times a day and putting on an already-wet bathing suit is the WORST! Ew. So everyone has a few suits. Addy has a few more than a few.

This is the bathing suit I really really REALLY want but will not buy. Will. Not. But I really want it. Just sayin’.

It is AWFUL to have to put on a wet bathing suit. And don’t feel bad, my kids have a ton of bathing suits, too. It comes with the pool, I think.

Love that bathing suit! Addy is so adorable - and in that pic I think she looks a little like Nicole’s Kinhly!
My problem with bathing suits is the bottoms never fit R~… the tops are fine, but the bottoms fall right off (and I’m with you, two-pieces are nice for potty purposes). So we end up using last-years suits almost every year. And I agree, girls suits are waaaay cuter than boy suits!

Addy is so cute! I give you less than 3 weeks before we see a pic of her in that Baby Lulu suit. ;-)

Too cute! This is my dream bathing suit set. Maybe it will go on sale at the end of the season and I can buy it for next year? The whole set of course! http://www.cwdkids.com/servlet/quagga/girls/product.jsp/_qprm_/browse?groupId=17799&itemId=G135&cat=girls-swimwear

We only have 2 suits for each girl and am thinking that 1 or 2 more will need to be added to the mix. I am favoring the 2 piece. I love Lilly suits but like you will not pay a small freaking fortune for 1. And NO diaper. Lucky!. I have to go buy some darn swimmers now (such a racket those swimmer things are!)

If you really want that bathing suit, why won’t you buy it? And what’s the big deal about it that makes it so you REALLY want it but WILL NOT buy it? Does not make sense.

      Nicki,

My three boys have three suits each because of the ocean, the pool and the lake, we are always in some body of water throughout the day!

But, I understand your addiction. If I had any reason at all to buy cutesie suits for girls, I would be.
