It’s A Secret

I am considering password protecting a very very few posts. I have a few thoughts I’d love to get off my head but they would not be safe for public consumption :-) These are the things I used to write about over on Livejournal but I don’t like having multiple blogs for various levels of privacy. It’s too high maintenance. I also don’t really like the whole password protection thing. It is high maintenance for the reader and, most of the time, I don’t write for myself :-) I’d rather people read what I write! But I’d love to be able to be more open and outspoken about some issues. Knowing that my kids read my blog makes that, well, impossible. Not that I’m hoping to write about them (I say for their benefits, haha) but there are topics that just aren’t child-appropriate.

So if you want my top secret password, drop me an email or comment here and I’ll shoot it off to you.

You know I love seeing all the deep, dark crevices of my friend Nicki’s brain! I better get one ;)

I love your writing style and many of the things you blog about. I don’t know if your private entries are going to be really personal, in which case I don’t think I have a right to ask. If they are going to along your current writings, I’d love to continue reading your insights into adoptions! Thanks and I’m glad you are enjoying the summer! Bring on the triple digit temps! Hee hee!

I’ve enjoyed reading your blog for the past few months. As an adoption veteran (3 kids…one more to go) I love reading about other adoptive parent’s experiences. I would like to have access to your password protected blogs, as long as you are comfortable with it. Thanks!

Hi Nicki - I really appreciate the insight and perspective that you share on your blog. I think as a PAP it’s important for me to learn as much as I can and challenge my thinking, which you help with! In other words, I’d love to have the password so I can keep up with all you have to share!

I am one of your readers from Louisiana. I love your blog! I have been reading it since you were still waiting for a referral!
I had planned on adopting from Vietnam last year, but I decided to go to nursing school first. (It wasn’t an easy decision. I am so ready to be a Mom!)
I don’t post much on the blogs I read, but I am always reading and learning.
Like Cara said, if your posts are going to be very personal, I don’t have a right to read them. If you feel comfortable enough, I’d love to keep reading what you have to say. The info I get from your blog and others who are adopting is very valuable to me.

    12. Mom Says:

Should I be afraid? :-) Yes, of course I’d love to have it!
