Proof of my budding photography skillz

Monster-Addy Decapitates Brother

First you’ll notice the great hair on Miss Addison. She is sporting her favorite ‘do called “I had piggy-tails in and now I don’t!”. Also called ‘Monster Addy’, for effect. Another photographer - or even a good mother - might try to make the baby pretty before snapping pictures of the back of her head. Not me, no ma’am!

Next you will notice the brother with the distinct lack of head. What happened to his head? I don’t know. I’m a really REALLY good photographer, you can tell. One minute she was all grabbing at his cheeks in her delightful playful style I like to call “Scratch the hell out of you until you drop her”. The next, I was trying to capture said “fun” on camera when I discovered the missing head.

The boys LOVE this picture, I can’t imagine why not! It is a very flattering picture of Dalton, me thinks. This may be one of the only times my older boys actually ASK me to post a picture of one them on my blog.

On another note, if you think I might not be cut out for photography as a hobby, I’m going to turn back to knitting and crafting in order to make up some of these delightfully adorable knit creations. Anyone who knows me and the history I have making internal organs out of yarn and needles know that I do not jest.

Good grief, you come up with some of the creepiest links to include on your blog! First that icky hand-thing a while back, now the knitting creations. I cracked up at Addy’s hair, but you had me mystified trying to figure out the bodies in that pic, with the missing head!

Also, just wanted to pass along my many thanks for your recent posts on the AAR group - you put things in the most perfect light. I know the groupies involved probably won’t the realities no matter what, but hopefully some of the folks still searching for an agency will realize that things just are not adding up in that situation…

Can’t wait for your next near-professional pics!

I love the Addy and Dalton monster pic - just call it “Art” and it’s all good! ;-)

Those knitted things are ummm… very interesting! One of them looks eerily like “Blue Barb”!

Okay, you’ve GOT to enter that photo in a contest somewhere. I am cracking up! Thanks for the laugh.

The bunny with the carrot through his stomach…ha ha!

I really like that picture…very candid and random :D

Okay, now that’s some funny stuff! Keep the great pics coming! The knitting pictures, on the other hand….creepy!

The picture is very interesting. Your son obviously has a very flexible neck. But the link to the knitting… OMG! I am laughing so hard my husband is wondering what I’m up to. Very funny… in a slightly disturbed way! Thanks for sharing!

A site you may be interested in is this one:

      http://www.celebratingadoption.org/

enter, go to “find a photographer” and there will be a huge list of photographers from all over and most have online portfolios. I got some great picture ideas there.
