The New Look
So I finally did it - I revamped the look of the site. Because that tan was giving me indigestion.
The new look is a little different, huh? I found this awesome background online and totally fell in love with it. It’s kinda 1950’s retro. I’d love to make an apron out of fabric in these colors and design. Of course I’d never wear it but it would look cute on a hook in my kitchen! 
One thing I did not want to lose was the rotating pictures. I think it’s fun to visit a blog and see a different group of photos each time. So I figured a way to link the top header into my Flickr account so it will always change as I add new photos.
One thing you might notice is that the new design is not at all “Lego” related. I tried. Boy did I try. I spent months trying, with various little lego people and lego Photoshop brushes and I could not get it worked out. So I finally gave up and ditched the “matching theme” and just went with stuff I thought better represented me and my taste.
Although there IS one tiny lego (playmobile, actually) somewhere on the site. It’s my very favorite piece that I own - now lost in all the moving junk - and I just HAD to incorporate it in somehow. Can you find it? It’s like Where’s Waldo!!!!
In other site-related news, I’ve been adding a few pages here and there. Many are just for my own record-keeping but feel free to look around. I added a run-down of our 2007 curriculum choices and a few other homeschool notes as well as some other things.

I will vouch for the extensive attempts at incorporating legos. I love the new look and the color scheme though. I am also a fan of the font used for the site title and tag line. Excellent work Sunshine!

I really looks great! I need some serious help making my blog look good. HOW DO I DO IT?? EVeryone is updating theirs, and mine is still the same old plain blog template. Ugh.

You know, when I first set up my kids’ blog it had a Lego theme. I wish I could remember it or still had the files you could modify!
