I finally bit the bullet and set up the backdrop to take the much-maligned Christmas Photo 2007. I had a great plan. I’d set everything up, I’d use the older two kids to help me position the camera, focus,  set-up, etc. Then I’d bring the little two in and start taking tons of photos before they got too cranky.

Great except Addison was totally obsessed with all of what was going on so long before we even got all the kids seated, she had already posed and posed and posed some more. Blah. It was not fun nor very successful. I took about a hundred shots and they all sort of suck. Overexposed, underexposed, someone looks gumpy, someone looks high. You know the drill. I finally resorted to telling everyone in the entire house to scream at the top of their lungs becuase at least screaming made Addy happy and sort of looks like a smile.

I have one - ONE - that I think is reasonable (but not wonderful) for cards. I dunno. I’m disappointed but I just don’t have the energy to do this again another day, I don’t think! If you want to see the finished product by way of Christmas Card, drop me a line with your address and promise me you’ll send me an awesome picture (or at least a card) too.

Don’t worry, we rewarded the kids for their torture (and our’s) with a trip out for ice cream (because dude, it’s 80 degrees here!!!!!)
