Addison is newly obsessed with the mail. Maybe its the onslaught of Christmas cards vs. the regular boring junkmail, but nothing is safe. If there is an envelope in sight, she gets her grubby hands on it and rips into it with abandon. Meanwhile the gifts under the tree have not been touched! She would make any grandma proud with her love of greeting cards! haha

Unfortunately with her love comes passion unequaled to her age and dexterity. We have already lost two beautiful cards to her overzealous ripping. We painstakingly taped one together again but the other was ripped in half on the fold so at least the picture was salvaged. She sees the writing on the cards and instantly begs for a pen so she can add her own autograph. She’s a menace. Heaven forbid we should get something of a very important nature - like say a birth certificate or passport - in the mail! I think we need to find a higher counter.

That said, she sure is cute with her love of all the pictures. She wants every person pictured to be named….over and over and over again. So to all my friends and family - Addy will know you by name and sight next time you see her! haha.

Speaking of cards, I finally got the bulk of mine out yesterday. Hurray! I ordered 60 and sent them all. I usually order way too many, this time I think I under-ordered. There were a few people who offered to exchange or sent us cards who won’t be getting one in return. Sorry, people! A girl can only be stretched so far. Next year I’ll start them sooner.
