I forgot to look ahead!
Ha - after rambling on and on about this past year and last year, I forgot to look ahead!
My friend D~ sent me this great document. I added one question to it and we are printing it out, adhering it the inside of a regular spiral bound notebook and each of us is going to fill it out. Then we’ll have something to look back on this time next year to see how much (or little) has changed. I think its a really fun idea.
Most years, Tony and I also sit down and fill out (separately) this Goals Worksheet. We, then, compare notes and goals and work together to build some shared goals if there are none. Its a great exercise for the adults in the home. Everyone starts out the year with full knowledge of each other’s intentions and goals, even if they aren’t necessarily shared. Hopefully, though, at least a few of the goals will be common to you both and you will find success in the coming year(s).
As for resolutions, I don’t make ‘em. Its a new year so I’m refreshing our homeschool goals and also my home organization and cleaning goals and routines. I do have simple goals though. I definitely want to continue developing new photography skills. I’d love to take a class but will probably settle for something online. Braces for Dalton and possibly plastic surgery for Addy-Mai. Maybe some dental work for me too. I hope to get outside more, do some more geocaching, swim more, take more trips down to Galveston. I want to make some digital scrapbooks. And I’m totally going to beat Guitar Hero III at the Hard level. A girl’s gotta dream, right?

LOL @ Guitar Hero! I dont make resolutions either. I am trying to get in shape but that’s out of necessity and I’m not calling it a resolution LOL
