I haven’t posted videos in so long. I don’t take them as much since the camera I use most of the time now doesn’t have a built-in video camera. So tonight I’m going a bit overboard. I’m posting two videos that are like 10 minutes, combined. You won’t hurt my feelings if you don’t sit through them all. But the first shows how totally crazy and silly my girl can get at night and both show her sort of running dialogue that goes on all day.

My favorite part is at the end of the second video when Addy’s sharing tea and she knocks over her creamer. Her imagination is so funny!

Also she started calling my best friend “Mommy” this past week which I thought was really funny but you can see the light bulb go off in my own head in the second video when I finally realize what is going on with this “Mommy” and “Daddy” business!

Love seeing videos. I can tell big differences between Addy and Lucy when I see Addison on tape. Her talking is great. I also love the pretending to sleep.

Totally enjoyed the videos. Petunia did, too! She heard Addy’s voice and immediately wanted to see what was going on. She watched both videos in their entirety. (And this is a child who doesn’t watch TV at all.) She talked back to Addy and laughed at her antics. Your precious girl is quite the entertainer!

I am a nanny for a little boy. He is 1 1/2. He watched both the videos of addison, and LOVED watching her. He was giggling and laughing right along with her. When they finished, he signed “again, again!” He doesnt see any other kids, so this was just amazing to him, Thanks!

She can talk a lot! For her age(andI researched this), she knows about twice the vocab. of a two year old!

…the typical two-year-old has a vocabulary of 30-50 words and can put two words together, another year of language development usually brings the ability to make three-word sentences and communicate more effectively. Not only do children start to use pronouns such as I, me, you, and we, but they also start to use them to express emotions (in ways other than through tantrums!). And by the time a child is 3 years old, grown-ups should be able to understand at least 75 percent of what he says.
