I almost got a hedgehog in college (they really are adorable), but when I went to hold one it hissed at me and freaked me out. I ended up getting a ferret instead. I know this sounds twisted but I must ask...I can't help but ask, are the ears soft or do they feel kind of rubbery? I know, stupid question, but they look really soft like that part on kitten ears.
