2008 Blue Bonnets - The Outtakes
Today I forced the kids in the van and drove to my newly discovered field of Blue Bonnets to try my hand at a few Addy-Mai pictures. I know she will be the hardest to capture with the least amount of patience so giving myself a few photo sessions was only realistic. Dalton helped entertain her while the other two boys ran and played.
Here are a few outtakes:

{the famous Addy-Mai Eye Roll}

{super windy today - it took me forever to figure out what the hands over the ears were about. Apparently whistling wind? Not her thang}

{I’m not listening. I’m not listening}

{oh good God - make her stop!}

{you wanna see me smile? How about this one?!}

{baby distraction techniques: hey Mom - look! A dog!}

Can you add to this pics of last year’s blue bonnets too? They were beautiful. I’m going to have to go hunt them down on your blog to look at how much Addy has changed. Where ever it is that you’re taking the pics of the blue bonnets is a great site for photos!

Even your ‘outtakes’ are cute - what a gorgeous field (and of course child as well).

What a gorgeous field of flowers!! I’d be dragging my kids out for pics too! Love the commentary - and totally relate… most of my kids are rather reluctant to give me a genuine smile when I pull out my camera. (Never mind that I HATE having my picture taken, THEY are supposed to cooperate!! LOL)

Awhhh…I just love bluebonnet time, although they’re not quite as plentiful in Austin yet…I haven’t seen any fields full of them, but hopefully in the next week or two, we’ll have some great photo-ops too…
You did such a beautiful job of capturing her big personality! She is so cute!

I absolutely love the blue bonnet pictures. I so jealous who have access to a whole field. I remember the pics from last year. Some of my all time favorite. Thanks for posting all of these of Addy. It’s so funny to see other parents going through the same photo frustrations that I do. She is so sweet in her white dress and bracelet. My, has she grown. sniff sniff.
