HAAAA. donuts and seafood?! nasty. or-as a say when something is really foul-Narsty.
there is a restaurant near sewanee called the four seasons. the last time we were there there was a huge sign that said-'Four Seasons Restaurant-Closed for Summer'.
ok, not an odd combination like yours, but still funny.

I love all the signs but I am pretty sure that I would not eat at a place with donuts and seafood in the same place! Now I want to visit TX myself!

Donuts and Seafood? I want to puke. I still love the fact that my town has an autobody/shoe repair shop. Someday I'll figure out a way to get a picture of it without starting the small town gossip mill working overtime about "those strange new folks".

I saw some pretty interesting stuff on a cross country trip of the USA back in 1999. Teeny tiny towns in the middle of nowhere, with really interesting stuff like you've posted here. The weirdest was this one horse town in remote Montana, they must have had like 5 taxidermy stores. 5? It's *that* big an industry in *that* town that they need 5!?
