Addy looks great, as always. I seriously have never noticed anything about her ears and I think you made a good decision on the surgery.

The earrings are super cute! She was very brave. I had to have mine done like 4 times as a kid (just the two regular ear ones) for various reasons the holes kept closing…oh and I never noticed the ear tag thing until you mentioned it, and then I had to *really* look to see what you were talking about! Hardly noticable.

What a great game plan you came up with about the earrings - and good points to remember if I ever head down that path (well, I know it’ll be “when,” most likely, just hoping for it to be a long ways away!). So interesting about her ear tags, you’ve mentioned them several times before and today is the only time I ever noticed them, and only because I really looked. I think waiting until she can be a part of the decision is absolutely the way to go, since there seems to be no safety or health reason necessitating it absolutely be done earlier. She looks adorable with the earrings and sounds like she did a great job getting them!

Love the earing! And I love that you made the choice you did being informed and really thought about it. I think to many of us get caught up in what is or isnt supposedly beautiful. Ive followed your blog for quite awhile and Im sure I have seen her ears before but never noticed the tags. I would never consider them to not be beautiful and like you said they are just an extention of her. I think it takes great couragious mothers to raise wonderful daughters and you are such a great example of that!
